For Kelley, strategies and plans for clients are like the gardens for which she lovingly cares. You need to pay attention to them. Move things around sometimes. And then…be confident enough to whack away at whatever is not working. It’s an outlook that comes from years of experience collaborating with everyone from C-suite executives at Fortune 100 companies, to startups, and neighborhood pro-bono groups as well. She specializes in helping scale organizations, creating insightful strategies, and implementing the efforts on a global scale. Being real, refreshingly honest, and empathetic is a key part of her makeup. She’ll be the first to say that everyone makes mistakes and since you spend a lot of time at work, you should like what you do. Able to calm down the drama in companies, she enjoys a bit more excitement in her personal life, training for triathlons and traveling all over the world. Not to mention spending quality time with her daughter in Los Angeles and her son in New York.
Solving unique problems for your team often requires drawing from a vast skill set. That’s where Anne comes in. Her patience, flexibility, and ability to juggle many roles at once are just a few of the qualities that clients keep mentioning. Having worked as an executive in large corporations as well as in early to mid-sized startups, she’s able to put herself in their shoes. With a vast background in brand strategy, strategic planning, and executive leadership coaching, Anne understands the challenges teams are up against, and can serve up a range of tools and frameworks to help them grow and succeed. When it comes to leaders, she also knows that no two are alike. That’s why she approaches her coaching as if it were a quilt she enjoys making as a hobby – recognizing each individual’s unique strengths and potential she assembles a plan that fits perfectly. In her free time, Anne gets outdoors locally with her son, or checks in on her daughter who lives in Amsterdam.
Before you can start making recommendations, you need to assess the situation. Amy should know. With over a decade of leadership experience at a leading healthcare provider as well as product management and business consulting experience in the technology industry, she knows that the key to keeping companies healthy is to observe first and ask a lot of questions. Taking a servant leadership role throughout it all, she learns how teams are structured, gauges their current state, and inquires about their future plans. Then, using a practical approach, she works with them to put a concrete plan in place to reach their goals – even through adversity. Never was this put more to the test than when she led the effort to transition more than 10,000 medical professionals to care for patients virtually during the pandemic. Problem solving is in Amy’s DNA – as is a love for the outdoors. As a 5th generation Oregonian she cares for her neighbors, including the finned kind, by serving as Board President of Salmon-Safe.
Monika is fluent in handbooks, guidelines, compliance, and all the inner workings that make Human Resources hum along. But what she specializes in is being transparent and getting to the heart of what her clients really need. Using a more human, business buzzword-free approach, she helps them find the big picture solution when they may be down in the weeds. Sometimes it starts with a joke to lighten the mood. Other times it’s working with a company like how she’d make a weeknight meal for her family – bringing all the disparate elements together and turning them into something great. Her friends call her the glue. It’s a role that serves her clients well.
When everything can be a bit in flux for an organization, everybody needs a Tammy. With a calm demeanor, she comes in, assesses the situation, and asks good, thought-provoking questions, and really listens. That’s what gains trust she’s found. With over 15 years of HR experience, she’s incredible at dissecting teams, discovering the issues, and assembling all the pieces the client has laid out on the table like a puzzle. Then she works to rebuild the team from there. This practical approach fosters good workshops and pointed plans that are easy to implement and get everyone on board. It’s a welcome distraction coming from her home that’s filled with teenage boys. Detail-oriented and practical at work, she’s not beyond taking a quick impulsive trip to Mexico.
Mindful-based leadership coach by trade. Creative by heart. Clair spent the first half of her career leading teams at fortune 50 companies as a creative director. This experience refined Clair’s distinct ability to cultivate talent and deliver results with high-performing individuals in fast-paced, ever-changing environments. While this may seem like an interesting path to organizational coaching, having been on both sides of the table gives her a unique insight into fully understanding her clients’ challenges and opportunities. Clair’s role as coach is simply to help them have that a-ha moment and further cultivate their sense of purpose to create solutions that stick. In her free time, Clair likes to spend time refurbishing her 1910 craftsman home.
The work sessions happen on time. Communication with clients is clear. No question is left unanswered. Things just keep moving. How does it all happen? We have a good idea, and it looks remarkably like Jennifer. Working behind the scenes, she does all the administration and coordination so our consultants can do what they do best: focus on their clients. She’s as adept at juggling multiple tasks as she is at encouraging those she supports. Which on weekends may be her kids at the top of a black diamond ski run or on that last long mile of a backpacking trip.
In 1993, Kelley Forseth started consulting because she felt there was a better way to care for clients and solve issues at all levels of an organization. Not impressed with the stereotypical consulting firms that push their solutions first, Kelley later surrounded herself with like-minded consultants who shared her passion for working together with clients to create actionable plans, and in 2010, Clarity Consulting Group was born.
